Jason Momoa, the well-muscled actor known for playing the superhero Aquaman as well as for his portrayal of Khal Drogo on HBO’s Game of Thrones, owes $138,378.88 in back taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.
The tax debt, first reported by TheBlast.com, involves the tax years 2015 and 2016, when Momoa played Aquaman in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Momoa first worked as a model before being cast in the TV series Baywatch: Hawaii. He then went on to have a hugely successful career as a television and movie actor.
Momoa is also a director and writer. His thriller Road to Paloma premiered at the Sarasota Film Festival in 2014.
